Three Network Marketing Strategies to Creating Great Email Copy

Email marketing can be one of the best network marketing strategies for building trust in your followers as well as increasing the size of your leads list. But in order to build a successful email marketing campaign, writing great advertising copy has to be a skill you develop. Use these three tips to get started on your successful email campaign.

Tracking
Before we delve into the copy writing, let's first discuss the need for tracking not just your email campaign but for all your advertising, lead generation and all your network marketing strategies. Without a proper way to track your campaign's success there's really little point in doing it at all. Make sure you can find out how many emails were opened, how many of those clicked through and then how many were converted into leads or sales.

Three Top Tips
1. Develop a clear picture of who your targeted audience is. You should have an idea of what their ages, genders, interests and socioeconomic background is. You might also want to consider geographical location and profession. Gather as much information as you can and keep that audience in mind as your write the copy for your email campaign.

2. Use an outline with headlines and sub-headlines to help the reader's eyes move about the page. Avoid large chunks of text. Spend time developing catchy headlines and sub-headlines including your email's header. Spark their curiosity to help improve your open rates. Believe it or not, studying tabloid headlines is a great way to begin learning how to write a compelling title. The tabloids exist only because of their ability to capture people's attention with headlines.

3. Provide solutions to your potential leads' problems. Your email campaign, as well as any copy you write for your site, blog or business should always be geared towards identifying a problem and providing solutions. What are you offering and why?

Unique Selling Proposition
Throughout this process you should be developing your unique selling proposition, or USP. Not only do you need to provide solutions to your potential customers and leads, you also have to tell them exactly what's so different about you. Why should they buy something from you, or give you their email, as opposed to the millions of other online marketers trying to do the same? By working on your USP as well as these other network marketing strategies you'll be well on your way to developing the hottest leads list around.
